The iranian premiere must wait

Osasuna’s iranian players, Javad Nekounam and Masoud Shojaei, didn´t took part in yesterday’s victory against Barakaldo (0-3), a team two categories behind the red team. As we explained yesterday, Shojaei and Neko ought to go to the iranian embassy in Madrid to fix some problems with their visas, but at the end their flight from Madrid to Bilbao was delayed and they missed the friendly match.

The debut of Shojaei will take more time more than expected. Osasuna will travel tomorrow to England to play two friendly games against Premier League’s Stoke City and Hull City, but his problems with his visa could force him to stay in Pamplona.

Meanwhile, Jaroslav Plasil, who played yesterday the second half of the match, has been called to play with the Czech Republic’s national team against England at Wembley on the 20th of August.

Walter Pandiani doesn’t count for the manager, Cuco Ziganda, and he didn´t participate in the game, as Dady, but the situation of the striker from Cape Verde is completely different and he will be a key player for the red team this season.
